On behalf of our client one of the world’s largest financial services companies GRS are seeking to recruit a Tax Operations Analyst to join their rapidly expanding Limassol operation. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualified experience in Tax advisory. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform the CRS and FATCA on-going monitoring process according to company policies and procedures and relevant law and regulations.
  • Perform data validation checks for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with FATCA, CRS and QI reporting.
  • Generate transmittals, forms and draft letters for IRS.
  • Assist with submitting tax authorities’ portals reporting files.
  • Assist with LPs reports on tax reconciliations.
  • Perform daily checks on the dividend tax withholding.
  • Managing a good communication with other internal departments.
  • Assist with handling of all tax escalations and become a subject matter expert.
  • Handling account maintenance and closures as per the tax policies and procedures.
  • Report to the Tax Operations Manager & assist with the conduct of the Tax Monitoring Program.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • A minimum of 3 years similar experience in a Tax advisory role.
  • Fluency in English – additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with several departments.
  • Ability to read and understand policies and procedures, regulations, legislation and basic tax and finance principles.
  • Organised and detail oriented.
  • Ability to operate within a fluid environment with tight deadlines.
