MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility for the entire staff selection process which includes the planning and definition of the duties of each position to be filled, the selection of the most appropriate means for posting the vacancy, the process of collecting and evaluating CVs, the process of conducting personal interviews and the official briefing of all candidates on the decision taken.
  • Resolution and immediate settlement of disputes or problems that occur daily to staff.
  • Explaining and resolving staff questions about payroll, benefits, their duties, etc.
  • Responsibility for the completion of all the required processes, for the employment of foreign staff and personnel from the European Union as well as for the renewal of their contracts and residence and work permits in Cyprus.
  • Assessment of staff training needs and selection of appropriate training programs to serve each training need.
  • Creation of a file for each employee of the company which includes personal information, information and evidence regarding their education, exact job, etc.
  • Preparation of all correspondence concerning the staff of the company such as certificates of employment, letters of remarks, letters of recommendation, etc.
  • Creation and continuous updating of the organisational chart of the company as well as of each department separately.
  • Continuous information on new legislation and practices concerning staff.
  • Preparation of reports (spread Sheets) concerning labor costs per department or other data.
  • Knowledge of the company’s payroll system and the entire payroll process.
  • ISO Support for the ISO quality system.
  • Secretarial and other support to the management team of the company.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University Degree in HR Management or Business Management
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position.
  • IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data.
  • Fluent in both Greek and English languages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Working with people at different levels.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally whilst offering creative solutions.
