Our client is a growing CYSEC regulated Investment Firm and they are looking for a CFO/ Executive Director who has a background in accounting and finance and can take the role of head of this department.
 

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be reporting to the CEO will be responsible for:
• Fulfilling all the responsibilities of a Financial Controller and that of an Executive Director when needed.
• In charge of reconciliation
• Preparing consolidated and stand-alone monthly financial statements in line with IFRS
• Preparing monthly financial reports and management information, including variance analysis
• Ensuring all statutory reporting and tax reporting is completed on time and accurately
• Liaising with external auditors in completing audit requirements
• Supervising the work of bookkeepers and ensure that all accounting records are prepared accurately
• Maintaining and develop sound accounting systems in line with corporate and regulatory guidelines
• Reviewing, identifying and improving internal processes and procedures, ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented & maintained

 
Requirements:

• Experience of financial and management accounting 
• Previous experience within a CIF of at least 4 years
• Knowledge of IFRS, taxation and CySEC rules and regulations.
• Previous experience in a finance and management reporting role and within a CIF would be preferable
• Member of ACA or ACCA or equivalent professional body
• IT literate with excellent and proven control of Excel
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language
• Well organised, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
• Numerical Skills and analytical ability
• Organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, organise and prioritise workload
