An established and leading name in the IT industry are working with GRS to recruit a Network Engineer to join their team in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and configuration of LAN switching IP routing and network security
• Primary customer technical contact
• Day-to-day operations, maintenance, monitoring, upgrades of networking systems
• Problem determination and resolution
• Working on-site with customers to provide technical support, setup assistance, and technical coverage for unified communications networks
• Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support
• Maintaining multi-site network operations
• Member of networking solution design and delivery teams
• Able to carry out site surveys and audits
• Able to provide accurate feedback to the rest of the team with regards to customer requirements and required changes
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
• Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work, troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and be able to accurately diagnose root cause
• Any other duties as assigned by management

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University degree holder in Engineering (Electrical or Electronic or computer engineering)
• Member of ETEK
• 5 years of experience in networking in projects similar to GUN (general networking)
• Involvement on at least two projects of similar nature
• Fluency in both Greek and English is a must
