On behalf of our client, an established Forex Broker with offices in Limassol and international offices in Australia, GRS are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will have experience in an Accounting position within the FX industry and must have excellent experience with PSP’s, bookkeeping, VAT, Payroll, and any banking related matters. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform and review the bookkeeping process in accordance with IFRS
• Prepare management accounts for the group’s Companies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
• Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting of the Company
• Preparation of tax computations and tax risks assessment
• Preparing necessary reports for complying with the Company’s regulatory obligations to CySEC.
• Close cooperation and coordination with internal and external auditors, banks, VAT consultants and other external business partners
• Preparation and execution of Payroll
• Opening of Bank Accounts in Cyprus and Overseas for Cypriot and International Companies
• Off Balance sheet client’s funds reconciliation
• Reconciliation between back office and payment providers (Deposits and withdrawals)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University graduate in BA Accounting, Finance, or related field
•  Qualified or partly qualified ACA or ACCA
•  At least 3 years of experience in an Accountant role within the Forex industry
• Fluency in English language is a must
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Previous experience with CySEC reports will be considered as an advantage
• Experience in SAP Business One will be considered an advantage
