Περιγραφή Θέσης

Our client, a global institutional trading network and global leader in large block trading, is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to aid in establishing a DevOps practice based at their office in Limassol.

You will be responsible for establishing configuration management, automated infrastructure, and implementing continuous integration. You will also partner closely with the Tech Lead to identify and implement DevOps practices and train the team to achieve a continuously deployable system. This role focuses on vendor-agnostic technology like Kubernetes and Terraform, but also requires experience with Cloud vendor services.

  • Build and maintain highly available systems
  • Implement and improve monitoring and alerting
  • Improve CI/CD tooling in adherence with company guidelines
  • Leverage the company’s ELK stack for logging
  • Utilize Kubernetes with integrated Prometheus and Grafana dashboards
  • Implement and maintain GitOps and ChatOps with Kubernetes as the main target of deployment
  • Implement and maintain the CI pipeline, using some of our newly established tools including:
  • YAML-driven pipeline
  • Kubernetes YAML files
  • Terraform/Ansible modules for Kubernetes and cloud services
  • Partner with core IT to automate processes from implementation through to production
  • Build Helm charts to package applications
  • Ensure proper encryption is used on all network-level communications and data at rest.
  • Build and document run books for Production Support and NOC teams
  • Ensure proper reporting of Test Suites, Code Coverage, Code Quality and Regressions are automated.
  • Contribute to the development communities of interest (COIN groups)
  • Contribute to the definition of TP ICAP development standards and best practices
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of service and implementation of global development & deployment standards
  • Be responsible for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role, or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance and operational risk requirements are met (e.g. cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements)
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties

Risk Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that you understand the risks and controls on your department; what could go wrong, what controls you have to prevent/detect or contain these.
  • All staff have defined risk management responsibilities. The Group imposes additional responsibilities on line managers and senior managers. It is critical that all staff discharge their risk management responsibilities when undertaking their role. Specific responsibilities are incorporated into employee objectives, and your performance against these objectives will be assessed as part of the firm’s performance management process. You will also be required to confirm that you have discharged your risk management responsibilities through the annual risk management attestation process.

  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration
  • Strong background in coding and application-level architecture
  • Ability to verbally and visually present and communicate architecture, to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with internally hosted Artifact systems like Nexus and Artifactory
  • In-depth knowledge of GitFlow practice and code quality (automated tests and code quality with systems like SonarQube)
  • Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, with updated experience focused on Kubernetes
  • Experience with TeamCity and GitLab Pipelines
  • Experience managing non-production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation and Kubernetes
  • Experience with migrations from SVN/Perforce to Git
  • Kubeflow for machine learning workloads
  • Istio for service mesh workloads
  • Recent Knative Tekton experience
