Our client, a Fintech company in Limassol, is looking to recruit an experienced Russian- and English-speaking Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of proper books of account under the Cyprus legislation
Maintenance of appropriate records of bank/brokers accounts
Maintenance of appropriate proper records of the financial instruments held
Maintenance of a cash book, including monthly reconciliation of the bank/broker accounts
Regular basis reconciliations with bank/brokers accounts
Participation in the automatization of accounting processes
Preparation of periodic management accounts and reports by management instructions
Participation in the process of consolidation of accounting information within financial reporting of holding company
Communication with internal and external auditors
Requirements:
Completed degree in higher education (Finance / Accounting)
Good knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus Taxation
Working experience in investment firms
ACCA will be considered an advantage
CySEC certificate and experience in CIF will be considered an advantage
Excellent proficiency in Excel – advanced formulas, pivot tables, power queries
Good data analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong abilities in the field of extensive data
Good project management skills
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
The high level of initiative and ownership
Interlinked thinking and structured way of working
Continuous improvement mindset
Fluency in Russian and English. Greek will be considered an advantage
Working hours:
The working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm with one hour lunch break (office-based position, not remote).
