The Body Shop is currently recruiting an operations officer, based at our Limassol office. The candidate must be bilingual in English and Greek, be able to work under pressure, be efficient, organized and structured as well as be computer literate. The candidate should be able to establish and maintain good working relationships and enjoy working as part of a team. Passion for the Health & Beauty Industry as well as enthusiasm to work for a highly ethical company with lots of activism and care for the environment, animals and people is a must. Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Health and Safety checks and make sure that procedures are in place.
  • New store openings: organizing and implementing.
  • Monitor and inspect the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payments for local and external suppliers
  • Arrange users and their permissions in POS
  • Ensure all departments, warehouse, reception, stores and office are streamlined and working in accordance to company policies
  • Placing, monitoring and planning the monthly orders in communication with the warehouse
  • Maintain Company Expenditure, overview and balances.
  • Inspect that Invoicing and discrepancies are processed accordingly in communication with the warehouse.
  • Track Store targets and motivate the teams to reach these on a monthly basis. Monitor the Store sales in line with UPT and ATV and ensure an average is kept stable.
  • Prepare P&L, Business Plans and Annual Event / Activism plans.
  • Present monthly reports to the Directors regarding each department and all operations of the company.
  • Market research and suggestions for pricing policy regarding new development products in communication with administration.
  • Track discontinued lists on a quarterly basis and order in line with averages sold in communication with the warehouse.
  • Interview and hire new staff.
  • Be the main contact for suppliers where necessary to ensure smooth operations of each outlet.
  • Ensure timely communication with Shipping agent concerning quotations, invoices, payments, logs.
  • Generate and process the weekly sales reports and forward to appropriate departments.
  • Inspect that withdrawals, discrepancies, promotional gifts, testers, breakages damaged stock and adjustments are adjusted in the central system in communication with the warehouse.
  • Resolve any issues that arise within stores or between staff and hold monthly meetings (by phone or in person with store managers).
  • Be the main point of contact for store managers (timetables issues, holidays, fixture and fittings, monthly events, store issues, etc).
  • Communication with accountant for payroll, social insurance, vat, holidays, etc.
  • Make sure that warehouse manager is keeping track and implements the batch rotation, invoice, PO, daily orders, cleanliness, organization, monthly event changes, seasonal changes.
  • Make sure that all new staff know how to correctly use the ESOFT system.

 

Salary € 1572.15 GROSS / 1400 NET
