Pop Life Supermarkets Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced payroll officer to be based at Latsia central office.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll on a monthly basis for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Calculate salaries, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.
• Prepare and file all statutory reports, including social insurance, taxes, and other government requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data within the time attendance and payroll systems.
• Stay informed of changes in Cyprus payroll regulations and tax laws, ensuring compliance.
• Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the HR and Accounting teams to reconcile discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related concerns.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports related to payroll.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer for at least 3 years.
• Solid understanding of payroll systems and Cyprus tax and social insurance regulations.
• Strong understanding of HR and finance-related practices.
• Experience with payroll software and MS Excel.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field is a plus.
