A Consultancy Services Company in Limassol is looking for an experienced Back Office & Operations Officer. The successful candidate will manage the workflow and responsibilities of the Back Office Department, ensuring compliance with CySEC regulations. This includes conducting due diligence procedures during account openings, approving and processing client fund transactions, and performing daily reconciliations of bank and client money accounts. The role also involves assisting the AMLCO in maintaining and updating account opening procedures, monitoring client accounts for suspicious activities, and training staff to ensure ongoing competence in line with regulatory standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Back Office Department’s workflow and responsibilities.
  • Conduct due diligence procedures during account openings (“Know-Your-Client” procedures).
  • Perform daily reconciliations of bank and liquidity provider accounts.
  • Assist the AMLCO in maintaining and updating account opening procedures.
  • Analyze departmental activities, including payment systems and AML procedures.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping in line with company policies.
  • Implement client AML classification procedures as defined by the AMLCO.
  • Train Back Office staff to maintain competence per CySEC regulations.
  • Maintain records of client records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve client issues promptly.
  • Adhere to the company’s Internal Operations Manual and Back Office guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks related to Back Office operations as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Back Office role within a CySEC-regulated investment firm.
  • Fluency in English and Greek; proficiency in Russian is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of AML regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Based in Limassol

 

Working hours:

The working hours are 08:00/09:00 – 17:00/18:00, Monday – Friday (onsite)
