Accounting officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping and maintain the accounting records for a number of companies
• Internal control of cash and sales
• Reporting on the above through detailed analysis and graphs
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports
• Monthly reconciliations (banks, credit cards, Petty cash, suppliers, customers)
• Prepare and submit VAT and VIES reports
• Preparation of management accounting reports
• Assisting in the preparations of accounts for the external auditors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• Advance computer skills and proficient with MS Office (World and Excel)
• Good knowledge of English and Greek language, both oral and written
• Quick learner and self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Responsible, highly organized, punctual able to multi-task and work under pressure
