Our client is a leading international CySec Licensed Forex Trading Company in Limassol and they are looking for an Accountant. This role will report to and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the seamless daily operations of the Finance Department. As a key member of a small, dynamic team, you will work across all internal departments within the group companies to provide effective and efficient financial support and services.

Responsibilities:

• Daily bookkeeping for various companies.
• Preparation of management accounts for the group’s Companies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Preparation of tax and VAT computations.
• Assisting in the preparation of the necessary reports for complying with the Company’s regulatory obligations to CySEC and central bank.
• Close cooperation and coordination with external auditors, banks, tax consultants and other external business partners.
• Preparation and execution of full Payroll cycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
• Full knowledge of the accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, collaboration with auditors and tax consultants
• Experience assisting with payroll
• SAP experience is a MUST
• VAT experience is required
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel  
• Knowledge of SAP Business One
• Qualified or partially qualified ACA/ACCA is a plus
• Experience within the Forex industry will be considered an advantage
• Familiarity with CySEC reporting will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience with the full Payroll cycle and the relevant legislation is a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Working hours:

• The working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, onsite
