Our client is an International financial services company and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol.

The company is providing financial services, including bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation, financial planning and analysis, and financial consultancy within the Financial / Fintech/FX sectors. 

Position Overview:  

You will be preparing, assisting, handling, and updating the accounting records as necessary. Moreover, you will be part of our exceptional Accounting team, with the greater scope to make a vital impact on our company’s success and further development!  

Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for managing and preparing the accounting records. 
• Assist in the processing of financial statements according to financial guidelines. 
• Perform financial entries in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed. 
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly/yearly regulatory reports. 
• Filing and organizing of accounting related documents. 
• Bank reconciliations. 
• PSP reconciliations. 
• Prepare VAT reports. 

Requirements: 

• 2 years of previous experience in a similar position. 
• Student/member of ACA/ ACCA will be an advantage. 
• Degree in Accounting or holder of LLCI Higher. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Greek and English. 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. 
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards. 
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software 
• Must: Experience within a Forex / Payments/ Gaming/PSP or related industry is required
