American Medical Center / American Heart Institute is seeking to recruit an Accountant.

American Medical Center / American Heart Institute (AMC/AHI) is a state-of-the-art health care facility offering a wide range of medical services and collaborates with highly experienced and competent professionals.  Consistent with our strategy for striving for excellence, we are in the process to fortify our accounting department and are in search for an Accountant.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in handling payroll and accounting functions.
• Updating payroll systems with employee information.
• Executing the payroll process on an accounting perspective.
• Preparing external tax reports.
• Generating payroll reports for managers to review.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Facilitating audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Performs accounts payable functions including reviewing invoices to verify accuracy.
• Coding and filing invoices and receipts.
• Generating vendor checks, expense and travel checks.
• Supporting other projects within the accounting department, as necessary.
• Reporting to the Chief Accountant and CFO.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency of Greek and English language.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office programs, online email, calendar and/or other Windows based software.
• Knowledge of SAP system will be considered an advantage.
• LCCI Higher will be considered an advantage.
• Previous hospital experience will also be considered an advantage.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Trustworthy and reliable person.
