Our client, a Legal and Financial Services Company, is looking to hire a Lawyer for their office in Limassol. 

Responsibilities:

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts of the Group of Companies, agreements, and legal documents including energy-related contracts (PPAs, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, joint ventures, project finance documents).

Requirements:

• Fluency in Greek and English
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience or interest within the renewable energy sector and familiarity with energy market
• Familiarity with permitting requirements and procedures for renewable energy projects and assisting in the preparation and submission of related applications to the regulatory authorities.
• Capability to liaise with governmental authorities, regulators, such as Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA), Transmission System Operator of Cyprus (TSOC), and Ministry of Energy.
• Liaison and communication with external advisors, associates, engineers, customers and partners of the group.
• Provision of legal guidance and support including administrative support throughout the lifecycle of energy related projects, from initial development and financing to construction, operation and potential asset acquisition 
• Conduct due diligence for potential acquisitions or new projects from the group.
• Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
• Be self-motivated and willing to learn
• Pleasant personality, good communication skills, reliable, paying attention to detail

Working hours:

• The working hours are 8.00 to 17.00 with one-hour lunch break (onsite role)
