American Medical Center / American Heart Institute (AMC/AHI) is currently seeking to recruit a Medical Equipment Technician.

 American Medical Center /American Heart Institute (AMC/AHI) is a state-of-the-art health care facility offering a wide range of medical and surgical services and collaborates with highly experienced and competent professionals along with specialized nursing and administrative staff.

We are currently in the quest of enhancing our Facility department by recruiting a talented and self-driven individual, to join the team in the position of Medical Equipment Technician.

Position:

As a Medical equipment technician, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring optimal functionality and safety of the hospital’s medical devices. The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy and fast-paced environment where priorities constantly change.

In support to the Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices, equipment, and systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Executing quality control tests and validation of medical devices.
• Keep up with automated maintenance schedule and update Inventory and maintenance records accordingly.
• Providing technical support and training to end-users.
• Collaborating with medical professionals, to understand user needs and technical requirements.
• Coordinating and collaborating with local and foreign suppliers and manufacturers.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Certifications procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent spoken and written Greek and English.
• Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc).
• Knowledge of medical-device-related regulatory requirements and standards.
• Good interpersonal communication skills, responsive.
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Quick to learn.
• Conscientious, dependable.
• Updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to biomedical engineering and medical technologies.
